Faith comes by HEARING and HEARING and HEARING the word or scriptures - Romans 10:17. So, God changed the darkness to light by SPEAKING words, which He BELIEVED and HEARING them - Genesis 1:3, Jesus changed a stormy situation to a calm situation by SPEAKING words, which He BELIEVED and HEARING them - Matthew 8:26, and Ephesians 5:1 says, 'be imitators of God, copy Him and follow His example, as children imitate their father'. So you too can overcome temptation, change your darkness to light, your stormy situations to calm situations by BELIEVING and then SPEAKING or READING the word or scriptures and HEARING and HEARING and HEARING, the word or scriptures, daily. 

For sin, has no dominion over me, for I am not under the law, but under grace - Romans 6:14(NKJV)

We have cast all our cares on him, for he cares for us, affectionately and watchfully - 1 Peter 5:7(AMP) 

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows, those who trust in him - Nahum 1:7(NKJV)

Now I know, that the Lord saves his anointed, he answers from his holy heaven, with the saving strength, of his right hand - Psalm 20:6(NKJV)
